For Expats

Sarphatipark is situated in the heart of De Pijp. It is a small park in a densely populated neighbourhood. Sarphatipark is the busiest park in The Netherlands with 110 visitors/m2 (Vondelpark 54 visitors/m2).

Most visitors of Sarphatipark are local residents who enjoy the park, let their children play on one of the playgrounds, or walk their dog in the park. In this English landscape park from 1884 you can relax from the city bustle. You will find people working out, enjoying a picknick in the park, or going for a walk. Many people have their lunch at the park and tourists also know where to find the park for a break or to see Samuel Sarphati’s national monument.
